AST SpaceMobile Secures Long-Term Access to Premium Spectrum in North America
AST SpaceMobile, Inc. has entered into a multi-party Settlement Term Sheet with Ligado Networks LLC, Viasat, Inc., and Inmarsat Global Limited, facilitating the Company's long-term access to up to 45 MHz of premium lower mid-band spectrum in North America for direct-to-device satellite applications. The Transaction, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions, aims to pair the Company's low Earth orbit communication arrays with additional high-quality nationwide spectrum, enhancing its network capabilities. The Company plans to finance the transaction through a $550 million institutional financing commitment.
