Details
(AWCC), a subsidiary of American Water Works Company, Inc., closed an offering of $800 million aggregate principal amount of 5.250% Senior Notes due 2035. Proceeds from the offering will be used to lend funds to American Water's Regulated Businesses segment, repay existing senior notes and commercial paper obligations, and for general corporate purposes. Additionally, on the same day, the Virginia State Corporation Commission approved a $14.6 million annualized increase in water and wastewater revenues for Virginia American Water, a subsidiary of American Water, effective from May 1, 2024.
