Barnes Group Shareholders Approve Acquisition by Apollo Funds

On January 9, 2025, Barnes Group Inc. announced that its shareholders approved the acquisition by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. at a Special Meeting of Shareholders. Approximately 99% of the votes cast were in favor of the transaction, representing about 80% of the total outstanding shares. The transaction is expected to close before the end of Q1 2025, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. Shareholders will receive $47.50 per share in cash.
