Cardinal Health Appoints New Chief Accounting Officer
On August 4, 2026, Cardinal Health, Inc. announced the appointment of Anita Zielinski as its new Chief Accounting Officer, effective November 5, 2026. Ms. Zielinski will succeed Mary Scherer, who will continue to serve as CAO until November 5. Ms. Zielinski will also join the company as Senior Vice President Finance on September 16, 2026. Prior to this role, Ms. Zielinski served as interim CFO and Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Baxter International, Inc. since March 16, 2026. She also has extensive experience at Sysco Corporation and Ernst & Young LLP.
