CenterPoint Energy Appoints Jesus Soto, Jr. as Chief Operating Officer
CenterPoint Energy, Inc. announced on July 21, 2025, the appointment of Jesus Soto, Jr. as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective August 11, 2025. He will receive a base salary of $725,000 per year, participation in the Company's incentive plans, and a buyout equity award of $6 million. Additionally, the Company's Board approved an amendment to the Deferred Compensation Plan to allow senior vice president level or higher officers to defer compensation up to 90% of salary and/or short term incentive compensation.
