Circle Internet Group Announces Acquisition of Tazapay to Expand Global Payments Infrastructure
Circle Internet Group, Inc. has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire Tazapay Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based cross-border payments platform, for an aggregate consideration of up to $400 million, subject to certain adjustments. The acquisition, expected to close in 2027, will integrate Tazapay's 60+ banking and fintech partners and 100+ payout markets into Circle's ecosystem, enhancing USDC distribution at scale.
