SCE Settles Woolsey Fire Cost Recovery with CPUC
Summary
Southern California Edison Company (SCE) has filed a motion to approve a settlement agreement with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to recover approximately $2.0 billion of losses related to the 2018 Woolsey Fire. If approved by the CPUC, SCE will be authorized to recover 35% of approximately $5.6 billion of losses, including uninsured claims and restoration costs. The settlement also includes waiving the right to seek recovery of certain uninsured losses.
