HCA Healthcare Refinances Credit Facilities with New Agreement
Summary
On February 20, 2025, HCA Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of HCA Healthcare, Inc., entered into a new credit agreement providing for $8.000 billion of senior unsecured revolving credit commitments. This agreement refinanced and terminated the previous senior secured credit facilities, which provided for a combined $8.000 billion of senior secured revolving credit commitments and term loans. The new agreement has a term of five years and includes various financial covenants and sub-facilities for foreign currency borrowings, letters of credit, and swingline loans. The proceeds of the new credit facility will be used for general corporate purposes.
