Humana Announces CEO Transition Effective July 1, 2024
Humana Inc. announced that Jim Rechtin will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2024. Bruce D. Broussard, the current CEO, will step down and transition to a strategic advisory role until March 1, 2026. Broussard will also serve on the Board of Directors of The Humana Foundation and provide strategic advice to the company during his advisory period. The transition was part of a long-planned succession strategy. Rechtin, who joined Humana as President and Chief Operating Officer in January, has been working closely with Broussard to prepare for this transition.
