Illumina Announces Spin-Off Distribution Dates for GRAIL Shares
On June 3, 2024, Illumina, Inc. announced via an 8-K/A filing that the distribution of at least 85.5% of GRAIL, LLC shares to Illumina shareholders as a pro rata dividend is expected to be effective at 12:01 A.M. New York City time on June 24, 2024. From June 12, 2024, until the Distribution Date, GRAIL shares will trade on a 'when-issued' basis on Nasdaq under the symbol 'GRALV'. After the Distribution Date, on June 25, 2024, GRAIL shares will begin regular trading on Nasdaq under the symbol 'GRAL'. During this period, Illumina shares will trade in two markets: regular way under the symbol 'ILMN' and ex-distribution under the symbol 'ILMNV'. After the Distribution Date, Illumina shares will trade under the symbol 'ILMN' only.
