KKR Announces Acquisition of Arctos in $1.4 Billion Deal

KKR & Co. Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Arctos Partners, LP, a premier institutional investor in professional sports franchise stakes and a leader in asset management solutions for sponsors, for an initial consideration of $1.4 billion, consisting of cash, equity securities, and additional potential equity. The acquisition is expected to be accretive per share and will expand KKR's platform in sports investing, GP solutions, and secondaries. The transaction, subject to regulatory and sports league approvals, will see Arctos become a fully integrated investment unit of KKR.
