LyondellBasell Announces Succession Plan for CFO Role
LyondellBasell Industries N.V. announced that Michael McMurray will retire as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective March 1, 2025, and will be succeeded by Agustin Izquierdo. McMurray will continue in an advisory role until his full retirement in March 2026. Izquierdo, currently the Senior Vice President, O&P Americas & Refining, has been with the company since November 2022 and brings extensive experience from BASF. The company has also released a press statement highlighting McMurray's contributions and Izquierdo's readiness to take on the CFO role.
