Summary
On March 7, 2024, Microchip Technology Incorporated issued $1,000,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its 5.050% Senior Notes due 2029 in a public offering. The notes were sold at a price of 99.823% of the principal amount and will accrue interest from March 7, 2024, and mature on March 15, 2029. The net proceeds will be used for the repayment of a portion of the debt outstanding under the Company’s commercial paper program and the payment of fees and expenses related to the offering.
