MetLife Announces Strong Q1 2024 Financial Results and New Stock Repurchase Authorization

MetLife, Inc. announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024, reporting a significant increase in net income to $800 million, or $1.10 per share, up from $14 million, or $0.02 per share, in the first quarter of 2023.
