MSCI Appoints New Chief Accounting Officer

MSCI Inc. announced on June 17, 2024, the appointment of C. Jack Read as its new Global Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, effective August 8, 2024. Mr. Read, previously with Citizens Financial Group, Inc., will succeed Andrew C. Wiechmann, the current Chief Financial Officer, as the principal accounting officer. His compensation package includes a base salary of $500,000, an annual cash bonus target of $500,000, and a long-term incentive plan award target of $600,000. Additionally, Mr. Read will receive a sign-on cash bonus of $800,000, payable in three installments over two years, and a sign-on award of restricted stock units with a target grant date value of $500,000.
