The company reported a 15% increase in quarterly revenue to $64.7 billion and a 16% rise in annual revenue to $245.1 billion. Quarterly net income rose 10% to $22.0 billion, while annual net income increased 22% to $88.1 billion. Diluted earnings per share for the quarter increased 10% to $2.95 and 22% for the fiscal year to $11.80. The strong performance was driven by growth in all segments, particularly the Intelligent Cloud segment which saw a 19% increase in revenue. Microsoft also returned $8.4 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends.
