On March 12, 2025, NextEra Energy Resources, LLC (NEER) announced that Rebecca Kujawa, President and CEO of NEER, will retire on May 22, 2025. As part of the planned succession, Brian W. Bolster, currently Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO of NEE and FPL, will resign on May 22, 2025 and succeed Ms. Kujawa as President and CEO of NEER. James M. May, Vice President, Controller and CAO of NEE, will also resign on May 22, 2025. Michael H. Dunne, currently Treasurer of NEE and FPL and Assistant Secretary of NEE, will succeed Mr. Bolster as Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO of NEE and FPL. William J. Gough, Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis of NEE, will succeed Mr. May as Vice President, Controller and CAO of NEE. The Compensation Committee of NEE's Board of Directors approved compensation increases for Messrs. Dunne and Gough effective March 17, 2025.
