The company appointed Brian Barr as the new COO, effective June 1, 2026. Barr, who has been with the company since September 2024, previously served as Vice President and Chief Mechanical Officer. As part of the transition, John Orr will serve as a special advisor to the Chair of the Board through June 30, 2026, and will retire from the company on July 1, 2026. He will also continue to serve as a special advisor through the earlier of the consummation of the Union Pacific merger or June 1, 2027. Brian Barr will receive an annual base salary of $600,000, an annual incentive award opportunity equal to 130% of his base salary, and long-term incentive awards with a target value of $2,500,000.
