Occidental Petroleum Announces Early Tender Results and Amendment to Indenture
Summary
On March 5, 2026, Occidental Petroleum Corporation announced the early tender results of its cash tender offers for its outstanding Zero Coupon Senior Notes due 2036, 6.125% Senior Notes due 2031, 6.625% Senior Notes due 2030, 7.200% Debentures due 2029, and 7.950% Debentures due 2029. Occidental also increased the maximum aggregate principal amount of the notes to be purchased from $700 million to $1.2 billion. Additionally, Occidental executed a Fifth Supplemental Indenture, which among other things, eliminates certain covenants and changes the minimum notice period for redemption to 5 business days. The early settlement date for the notes accepted for purchase is March 9, 2026.
