LG&E plans to issue 5.850% First Mortgage Bonds due 2055 to repay its $300 million 3.300% Series First Mortgage Bonds due October 1, 2025, and other debts. KU plans to issue similar bonds for repaying its $250 million 3.300% Series First Mortgage Bonds due October 1, 2025, and other debts. Both offerings are expected to close on or about August 13, 2025.
