PayPal Reports Strong First Quarter 2025 Results with Profitable Growth
PayPal Holdings, Inc. reported strong financial results for the first quarter of 2025, achieving a 1% increase in net revenues to $7.8 billion. The company saw a 31% rise in GAAP operating income and a 56% increase in GAAP earnings per diluted share (EPS) to $1.29. Non-GAAP operating income increased by 16%, and non-GAAP EPS rose by 23% to $1.33. Total payment volume (TPV) increased by 3% to $417.2 billion, while active accounts grew by 2% to 436 million. The company also repurchased $1.5 billion worth of its common stock during the quarter.
