Organon Completes Acquisition of Dermavant

from Roivant Sciences Ltd. Dermavant, specializing in immuno-dermatology, was acquired for its innovative dermatologic therapy, VTAMA (tapinarof) Cream, 1%, a nonbiologic, non-steroidal topical treatment approved for plaque psoriasis and under review for atopic dermatitis. The acquisition is expected to expand Organon's dermatology capabilities. Dermavant also repaid all amounts outstanding under its Credit Agreement and terminated it in connection with the merger. The transaction was announced in a joint press release by Organon and Roivant.
