RTX Corporation Subsidiary Enters Deferred Prosecution Agreements and Settles with DOJ and SEC
Summary
On October 15, 2024, Raytheon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RTX Corporation, entered into a deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) with the Department of Justice (DOJ) resolving FCPA and AECA violations related to Middle East contracts since 2012. On October 16, 2024, Raytheon entered into another DPA and an FCA settlement agreement with the DOJ for defective pricing claims related to legacy contracts from 2011-2013 and 2017. Simultaneously, RTX Corporation became subject to an SEC administrative order for FCPA violations. Raytheon and RTX Corporation agreed to pay penalties, disgorgement, and interest, and will retain an independent compliance monitor for three years.
