Sanmina Announces Acquisition of ZT Systems' Manufacturing Business
Summary
On May 18, 2025, Sanmina Corporation entered into an Equity Purchase Agreement to acquire the data center infrastructure manufacturing business of ZT Systems from AMD for up to $3 billion, including $2.25 billion in cash, $300 million premium, and $450 million in contingent consideration. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Sanmina also secured a $2.5 billion bridge commitment from Bank of America to fund the acquisition. The transaction is expected to be accretive to Sanmina's non-GAAP EPS in the first year post-close.
