Sun Communities Awards Cash Bonuses to Executives for Marina Sale
On July 29, 2025, Sun Communities, Inc. awarded cash transaction bonuses to its Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for their significant contributions to the sale of Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC, which was completed in phases. The sale, including 123 marinas, was for total cash consideration of $5.25 billion with a gain on sale of $1.4 billion. Additionally, six Delayed Consent Subsidiaries were sold for $136.7 million subsequent to the Initial Closing.
