UPS Announces $1 Billion Senior Notes Issuance for Pension Funding

Details

(UPS) announced the issuance of $1,000,000,000 principal amount of 4.850% Senior Notes due 2031. The Company intends to contribute $200,000,000 of these Notes to the UPS Retirement Plan Trust and $250,000,000 to the Master Trust, both of which fund pension plans for employees and former employees. The net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes. The Underwriting Agreement is attached as Exhibit 1.1 to this report.
