Verizon Announces Early Results and Extension of Private Exchange Offers for Notes
Verizon Communications Inc. announced the early results of its private exchange offers for 10 series of notes due from 2025 through 2028. The exchange offers, which allow holders to exchange their old notes for newly issued notes due 2035, have seen varying levels of participation as of the original early participation date on August 2, 2024. Verizon has also extended the early participation date to August 19, 2024, providing more time for eligible holders to tender their notes. The settlement for notes tendered by the original early participation date is expected on August 9, 2024. The new notes issued will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in the United States without registration or an applicable exemption.
