WESCO International Reports Strong Q1 2026 Financial Results
WESCO International, Inc. reported record first quarter 2026 net sales of $6.1 billion, a 14% increase year-over-year (YOY). Organic sales grew by 12.3% YOY, and data center sales surged by approximately 70% YOY to $1.4 billion. The company's total backlog increased by 22% YOY to a new record level. Operating margin improved to 4.8%, up 30 basis points YOY, and adjusted EBITDA margin expanded by 60 basis points YOY to 6.4%. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) was $3.11, and adjusted diluted EPS was $3.37, up 52.5% YOY. Free cash flow was $213 million, or 128% of adjusted net income. WESCO International raised its full-year 2026 outlook due to the exceptional start to the year.
