Details
The term of the PPA for each unit is 20 years, starting in 2030 and 2033, respectively. The agreement is subject to approval by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW). If approved, the PPA is expected to result in savings for customers compared to the current power purchase agreement, which expires in 2030 and 2033. The PPA may be terminated if PSCW approval is not obtained by January 1, 2028, with an automatic extension to July 1, 2028 if PSCW approval is capable of being obtained and WEPCO is pursuing approval in good faith.
