Waste Management Appoints Tom Bené to Board of Directors
Waste Management, Inc. announced on March 1, 2024, that its Board of Directors has elected Thomas L. Bené, President and CEO of Breakthru Beverage Group, LLC, as an additional independent member. Bené, with over four decades of experience in business leadership and strategic growth, will serve on the Management Development and Compensation Committee. He will be eligible for re-election at the 2024 Annual Meeting. The Board's size will be reduced to nine members following the retirement of Director John C. Pope at the same meeting.
