Walmart Inc. Announces Sale of New Debt Securities
Walmart Inc. has entered into a Pricing Agreement with underwriters to sell $4.245 billion aggregate principal amount of various notes due between 2029 and 2036. The net proceeds to the Company from the sale of the notes, after underwriting discounts but before transaction expenses, will be approximately $4.230 billion. The notes will be senior, unsecured debt securities and will be governed by an Indenture dated July 19, 2005. The notes will be represented by global notes and will be initially issued and delivered in book-entry form only.
