Long, who has been serving as President of Northern States Power Company since January 2024, will continue in this role while an internal and external search for the next NSPM President is conducted. Long has held various legal positions at Xcel Energy since 2015 and previously worked as a lawyer for Faegre Baker Daniels and Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
