Block, Inc. Announces $2.2 Billion Senior Notes Offering

On August 13, 2025, Block, Inc. announced a private placement of $2.2 billion in senior notes due 2030 and 2033. The offering includes $1.2 billion of 5.625% Senior Notes due 2030 and $1.0 billion of 6.000% Senior Notes due 2033. The notes were issued under an exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933. Block, Inc. intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment, acquisitions, capital expenditures, investments, and working capital. The offering was upsized from the initially announced $1.5 billion.
