Citigroup Announces CFO Transition and Business Reorganization
On November 19, 2025, Citigroup Inc. announced that Mark A. L. Mason, the current Chief Financial Officer, will transition out of his role in early March 2026 to become Executive Vice Chair and Senior Executive Advisor to the Chair and CEO. Gonzalo Luchetti, currently the Head of U.S. Personal Banking, will replace Mason as CFO. Additionally, Citigroup is reorganizing its U.S. Personal Banking business, integrating Retail Banking into the Wealth business and making U.S. Consumer Cards a standalone business.
