Dominion Energy Increases CVOW Project Costs and Delays Completion Date

Dominion Energy, Inc. announced an update on the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project, reflecting an increase in total project costs from approximately $11.2 billion to $11.5 billion and a delay in the expected completion date to early 2027. The increase is due to the temporary suspension of work from the December 2025 U.S. Department of Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management Director's Order, which was later enjoined in January 2026, as well as additional estimated costs associated with tariffs.
