NRG Energy Announces Offerings to Fund LSP Acquisition

NRG Energy, Inc. announced the commencement of offerings of senior secured and unsecured notes to partially fund its acquisition of assets from LS Power, including approximately 13 GW of natural gas-fired generation facilities and a commercial and industrial virtual power plant platform.
